Dragonfly – Rebuilding the Desktop App with ElectronJS
The Challenge
The Solution
Megatron Solutions rebuilt the Dragonfly Desktop App using ElectronJS, allowing the same codebase to run natively on both macOS and Windows.
We provided a dedicated team of two JavaScript developers and one QA engineer who worked intensively for two months to deliver the solution end-to-end.
The app was successfully published on both the Apple App Store and Microsoft Store, ensuring full platform coverage and streamlined updates:

The new ElectronJS implementation unified Dragonfly’s desktop ecosystem, reducing maintenance costs, removing legacy licensing dependencies, and enhancing accessibility for users across platforms. The project was completed on schedule and successfully launched on both stores.
