At major airports, hundreds of gates must handle complex turnaround operations — docking, unloading, refuelling, catering, boarding, and departure — in rapid succession. Currently, much of this process is managed manually:

  • Ground staff visually confirm tasks and update statuses by hand.

The client, a major airport operator, sought a real-time, non-invasive monitoring solution that could integrate with existing systems, improve accuracy, reduce costs, and boost operational efficiency without costly infrastructure upgrades.

The Solution

Megatron delivered a phased, AI-powered vision system leveraging existing CCTV infrastructure for real-time monitoring, predictive insights, and operational optimisation.
